Overview
The EMS/speedpost was established in 1986 as a courier arm of the Nigerian Postal
Service following the decision of the universal postal union(UPU) at its 1984 congress
in Hamburg, Germany for member-countries to set up courier service as a direct response
to the incursion of private courier companies into the traditional domain of the
post.

To provide efficient and reliable courier and allied service nationwide, worldwide
by a team of well trained motivated workforce at competitive rates for the satisfaction
of the needs of the customers.
VISION
To become a neighbourhood courier organization that deliver on time and intact.
DELIVERY STANDARD
EMS/speed post ensures very speedy delivery of all items. The service offers a standard
delivery time of 24-48hrs for domestic items and 48-72hrs for international items.
DELIVERY NETWORK
EMS/Speedpost has the widest domestic network in Nigeria. It is present in virtually
all local government in the country with more than 400 offices nationwide. Taking
advantage of its membership of the universal postal union (UPU), it is represented
all over the world in more than 129 countries.
